This year the Boston Magazine pulled out all of the stops this year for style and design of the home located in the Crownings Cove Community, The best part is that proceeds from the tours go to help the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England. This was a brilliant partnership with several great organizations, such as the World Class Builder, Eugene Mattie.
This 5 plus bedroom home is magnificent. There are a few areas that I am in love with, such as the Pilates Studio, the Kitchen, Mom’s Ultra Retreat, the Reading Room and the Backyard. Every detail of these areas were carefully planned and fine tuned with finesse. From the Windows, the trim, the flooring and interior furnishings. I would find it hard to believe that someone would not want to live in such a splendid home. Personally, I think that every home needs a private Pilates or Yoga Studio.
I wish that I could say that I could say that I had the pleasure of visiting the Design Home 2012 from Boston Magazine, but thanks to the Andie Day Lifestyle Blog and the masterful blog post and Interview on the Design Home 2012 that details a personal private tour of the home, I feel as though I was given a personal tour. Thanks Andie for being so descriptive in you writing. It inspired me to find out more about what the Design Home 2012 was all about. I am so glad that I took the time to read more on this magnificent design project for such a worthy cause.
History on the Boston Magazine Design Home 2012:
Design Home 2012, Boston magazine’s sixth Design Home project, is a visually stunning masterpiece. The partners of the project, Eugene Mattie Associates, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Eastern New England and Boston magazine, have come to appreciate all that a home like this can do for a community. Visitors get the chance to grab ideas, pull inspiration, and touch and feel the many products that are available in home design.
The best part is that not only do visitors get a chance to see great construction and awesome design, both interior and exterior in person with all of the latest design trends implemented, the best part is that 100% of ticket sales benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Eastern New England.
