Quartz Countertops

Quartz is the natural choice that provides a unique feel and offers a non-porous and scratch resistant surface that’s ideal for use in the kitchen. Quartz is a Man-Made non-porous material, made from a mixture of 93% quartz and 7% resin binders and pigments. It has the strength of granite, but is more flexible – making it somewhat easier to handle. The beauty of quartz to a fabricator is that quartz needs no sealing or polishing.

Quartz countertops and Mold & Mildew Resistant, making it extremely hygienic and safe for food preparation areas. Quartz countertops are uniformin appearance and has the general appearance of natural stone, but with a more consistent pattern and color. One of the best selling features of quartz is that the final product should be very close to what you see in the sample from your designer.

Quartz countertops are durable, but not indestructible. Proper care must be used as with any other stone, to maintain the beauty for years to come.

Quartz countertops are much heavier than granite countertops and must be professdionally installed.  Typically, this is done by the fabricator or someone on their team.
