The color of paint in your home can most definitely affect your mood and feeling in a room. Therefore before embarking upon a painting remodel project it is wise to take the time to understand how paint colors can make an impact on how you feel in a room.
Whether you are choosing the paint color for your entire home or a paint color for a bathroom remodel or a kitchen remodel or a living room or family room, you should take the time to explore paint colors carefully. I spend a lot of time in my local Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams store when I am working with a client on a paint remodel. It is prudent to purchase small paint samples instead of just relying on the paint color chips. You should also purchase the paint boards or peel and stick papers so that you can see how the paint looks on different walls in your home.
Personally, I have my go to colors when choosing paint colors for a home. If the theme is more traditional I use warm undertones and if the theme is modern and transitional I use cool undertones. There are literally thousands of paint colors to choose from, so don’t worry you will not be at a loss for selection, if you must narrow your paint choices down.
